I have had so much support from all over the country & internationally. I don’t mind admitting I’m afraid of losing friends and colleagues over it. Some will say: well if you speak up for hateful bigots, you get what you deserve. That - crazy though it seems to me - is how things stand.
Do report back (in general terms) on your experience! I suspect it will be less bad than you fear. Most people are supportive but scared to speak up I've found. #feelthefearanddoitanyway
