Also sex is *nothing* like race. "race" is surface level adaptations to different geography & climates that started about 70,000 years ago. Sex is older than human beings, older than mammals. Its ancient - vertebrates with internal fertilisation go back 400,000,000 years.

Ha ha. This is the *the* most important one I think. And when all of this is done, I think we will have to think about it some more. Because it means that what we call 'patriarchy' & what we see as patterns of human nature coevolved.
And what we have learnt is that denying biology was a booby trap for feminism

Bonafied second-wave feminist from Boston here. We *never* denied our biology. We *celebrated* it. The publication (+ 9 editions) of this book in 1970 helped launch feminist activism for control of our bodies/biology, which led to Rowe v. I'm not sure I understand, feminists have always stated the importance of sex - that sex is the reason women are oppressed & discriminated against. It was the anti-feminist backlash known as 'liberal feminism' which started to focus on choice (victim blaming) rather than class
