@JolyonMaugham Goodness me, we seem to suffer from a similar affliction! Periodic Twitter pile-ons by people who have extremely dogmatic views sparked by - as far as I can tell - comments by Graham Linehan. I really hope they’re just an extremely vocal minority.

That extremely simple question is a poor proxy for something that is clearly far more complex.

"Transwomen are women" is a simple & dogmatic statement. Do you agree with it, or do you think it is more complex than that? (warning: people who publicly disagree with this statement don't just get polite argument on Twitter, they will come for your career and your livelihood)

Roberts just blocked me for pointing this out. Not bad for a Prof of Public Engagement. At this rate she'll be engaging with nobody else but her milkman and he'll be backing off at an alarming rate.

I’d be interested in seeing the Venn diagram which shows the intersection of those who believe humans can change sex and those who believe in ghosts or UFOs. The numbers appear similar.

Graham created Father Ted but he openly admits it was God who created women. The scientific proof can be found in the episode "And God created women". I rest my case
