@AdamWagner1 - this is both poorly judged and poorly executed. The analogy with midwifery seems to begin and end with the fact that these are both jobs which are overwhelmingly done by women. If I were a midwife, I think I'd be rather insulted at being equated to a sex worker.

That's the equivalent of "Talk to the hand because the face ain't listening". The complaint isn't about the human rights of sex workers, but the inaccurate and insulting analogy being drawn with midwives. The response to the tweet ought to tell you you've misjudged this one.
