Given that it is impossible to tell anyone else's gender identity unless they tell you or wear a badge etc... do you think their are any risks and oppressions that people face on the basis of their sex?

@MForstater, wrote a typo and meant to write “think [there] are any risks” instead. ‘Their’ is possessive; ‘there’ is a pronoun or an adverb. -
