You frame it as a belief. But what makes a woman is not a belief but biological reality. Facts matter. That may be a belief, but one that is needed for a healthy society.
Yes facts matter. You can't force people to believe in them though. When it comes to making decisions which affect other people though (such as in medicine, safety) we can say facts win out.
