It's interesting to compare this to @rights_info 's coverage of the largely silent (there was a little singing at the end) protest in support of Linda Bellos and Venice Allen. Meanwhile Mermaids gives out misleading advice on the Equality Act. It says that it is never legitimate to provide a service that is just for women (ie. female people) . This is clearly nonsense. The first example of single sex service in the Act is cervical smear clinic!pic.twitter.com/UCYlG32CW5
