I do agree the guidance should be made clearer and easier to find. I found the guidance that says M&S etc were right abut trans inclusion in cubicled changing rooms, but when the misguided protests happened nobody found it. https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/sites/default/files/servicescode_0.pdf … p 198
For example the person who was refused entry to Dorothy Perkins changing rooms recently. Clearly they were distinguishable (since they were refused entry). So u would argue that DP was right here? (and wrong to apologise) ? Wld this fit yr definition of trans inclusion?

I could not find confirmation specifically for Dorothy Perkins. But normally changing rooms in clothing shops are cubicled. This case is covered in the guidance explicitly, there is no case-by-case there, trans women are included.pic.twitter.com/FEYUte6qny

However this guidance file is not easy to find. What probably happened is once there was a review, Dorothy Perkins lawyers found it, leading to the apology. New *accessible* guidelines are surely needed, we agree on that, but not on the content.
