Right, and if a girl lives in a household where she is denied basic products to deal with her period she is probably being neglected and emotionally abused in other ways. Its not solved with free products.
But perhaps the provision of free sanpro in schools might allow these girls to be identified?
See it might, but relies on those girls coming forward? And that being used to identify them, and then (catch 22) everyone is less likely to use scheme in first place, if word gets round someone “has a word” about life at home if you do? Not that this is ever easy.
