Remember "gender reassignment" in the EqA (& in the GRA) requires no medical or surgical intervention (and even when a person does go this route that would not change HIV risk). Giving away the words 'male', 'female', 'man', 'woman' in relation to the risks associated with sexual activity - e.g. risk of pregnancy, risk of HIV transmission is madness. These things have *nothing* to do with gender identity.

This is unlikely to happen in the UK as the National Blood Transfusion and Organ Service is highly risk averse. The final ‘fessing up’ of having poisoned many children with HIV and Hepatitis from imported, contaminated blood products - though outrageously delayed is a factor.
This is dangerous for males. Blood of females who have been pregnant can kill some males whatever their 'identity'
Some women may not even know that they have been pregnant. I can't imagine why the govt would allow such a risk to male people regardless of their gender. I can't imagine the govt putting male people's lives at risk in this way, regardless of their gender
