      So an employer should have the right to fire you if you don’t perform according to their expectation of other people who would reproduce like you?

      No exactly the opposite. You should have protection against discrimination based on sex. Employers that have different expectations for men and women (beyond those specifically allowed) are discriminating.

      Or discrimination based on sex. Eg where men can wear comfortable shoes but women have to wear high heels

          Or for example you can be passed over for promotion because you ‘might’ get pregnant. Or get fired because you can’t work because you are pregnant or on maternity leave because you just gave birth. Sometimes differences in sex matters.

          Yes we need a definition of sex to protect against discrimination against women based on our female sex. If you take that away&say we all agree “men can get pregnant”, then the door is open for discrimination of pregnant women i.e “it’s fair-this rule is for women&men...you see?”
