I think first thing is to encourage the govt to respond to WESC report with a strong push to the EHRC for a new Code of Practice with broad scope (not just refuges) & clarity about protected characteristic of sex -- i'm going to write to Victoria Atkins and my MP for a start
I'll write to mine but since he's a confessed misgynist who never attends parliament it won't help much. I'll also try party leadership. And the party's Women's Officer
I agree that writing to one's MP is a good idea. I'd guess this isn't prominent on the radar of mine, who chairs a different Select Committee & he might not be fully aware of implications.
