Conflating men & male (within the category human) is not hateful. Its the definition in the Equality Act. It might be less than friendly to call someone who doesn't want to be called a man, a man. But conflating less-than-friendly w hateful is part of the bad argument.

It seems to be that this happened: 1. Genderists argue that woman =/= female adult 2. Genderists say since woman =/= female adult, male ppl can be women 3. Genderists say since to most ppl woman = female adult, now we must refer to 'women' (whether male or female) as female.

I mean, *they're* the ones that said man =/= male, so they can hardly now attack GC feminists for taking them at their word.
