Some say its ok for males to be housed in women's prisons, some say it harms womens rights. People can discuss in good faith. But @rights_info stance of avoiding saying sex & no platforming gender critical views is a failure of responsibility @AdamWagner1 @GeorgePeretzQC
It is also very confusing. Given that "gender" is "assigned at birth", it seems to be a formal legal category that is assigned through an administrative act. Yet "gender identity" can somehow "lack formal legal recognition". Do they really know, what they are talking about?
They profess to have no idea. Also why would prisons be segregated by a purely administrative or subjective metaphysical characteristic "gender identity" in the first place ?
I have a new policy of blocking anyone who uses the phrase "assigned at birth" in the context of gender. They are most likely either ignorant flat-earthers (if they really believe this is what happens) or disingenuous liars (if they don't).
