To my ears and eyes, the discussion is abt both gender & sex. eg, the opening anecdote in the interview abt commuting patterns relates to gender roles & norms; a subsequent point abt testing drugs has to do with biological sex. Thx for pointing out the value of clarity on this.

'Gendered roles' but sex-disagregated data (i.e the invisible people themselves are women = female people, not 'people who identify as women') Which has become an oddly controversial thing to say & many orgs are now confused & collecting data based on 'gender identity' not sex
