The mountains of research over 50 plus years... of course there’s been decades more research if it wasn’t for the Nazis who burned it all! Objectively the way trans people react to hormones is a confirmation - cis people given cross sex hormones react badly, trans people thrive!

Saying people are cis assumes they have a gender identity. Most people in the world don't take cross sex hormones so how do they know if they have a gender identity? Not all people who say they experience a gender identity seek to take hormones.

But everyone does have a gender identity. Only when it’s congruent with your anatomical sex you don’t think about it. A gender identity is nothing to do with gender roles! Most people don’t take cross sex hormones, but when a trans person does their mood improves. (1)

When (rarely) a cis person takes them their mood plummets! No, not everyone with a gender identity seeks hormone therapy for various reasons, that doesn’t invalidate their gender identity! (2)

I thought everyone has a gender identity? What are the objective criteria for me to identify what mine is?

You know you’re not a man right. You don’t have to check your genitalia to know you’re a woman. You have never had your chromosomes checked to see if you’re XX. All that is the objective reality of your gender identity. Self awareness: the defining characteristic of humans!

That is the objective reality of my sex. What are the objective criteria for knowing what my gender identity is?

You're fighting a case predicated on your "gender critical" / trans phobic beliefs being immune to evidence & firmly held. What is the point of engaging in discussion w you if ur mind is not open to change? Bcos if u change ur mind ur claim is lost. Sounds like faith to me.

Because people who don't share the same beliefs can get along together in a democratic, secular society
. I don't share your belief in the primacy of gender identity, you don't share my belief in the importance of sex. People don't need to share beliefs.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like
But yes if you think ppl who don't share you beliefs are hateful or "phobic" then yes we probably don't have much to talk about.
