I agree, the law has gone too far. But my point is: how is it that some women can get their heads around touching penises at work (and regard it as no big deal)? The bigger deal we make over something, the more attractive to weirdos. the ‘eek it’s a penis’ reaction doesn’t help

GP women have to get their heads around doing prostate, STI, testicular cancer checks. Can’t do job otherwise. You’re suggesting these women are somehow different to other women

Yeah but you can't force an OBGYN to check your prostate. Different speciality!

What about GPs? My GP wife does them. I’m not sure she would keep her job if she refused. The speciality is irrelevant. My point is there is nothing sleazy about touching a penis in a professional setting. Women already do it & make no big deal about it

Dude, I think you're being dumb on purpose. Doctors choose to be doctors knowing exactly what will be expected of them. Your position is basically if a woman can be a doctor then all women should be comfortable handling penises. That's just stupid. On purpose.

If someone has 'eek its a penis' view, and they do waxing, seem sitting duck for perverts like we have here. If there was same support, training etc. that doctors get, the pervs would need to go elsewhere for thrill. There's reason this creep didnt try it with female GP - no fun

Ha ha ha ha! Why the fuck would beauticians need the same training as doctors? I have trouble believing a doctor actually married you.

They don't need same training bc they're not doing same work, though Mrs says there are overlaps in the interactions. The lecture 'touching a penis in the course of your work isn't a sex act' took about 30 secs of their training. They don't spend long thinking about it.

You are again trying to create an equivalence between necessary medical treatment undertaken by highly qualified and regulated professionals, and a beautician. There's no equivalence.

I've muted him. I was getting creeped out by someone dragging out a conversation about undermining women's boundaries and then extending it to children

He keeps trying to create a false equivalence between two completely different services, blaming beauticians for not taking better precautions, and totally misses the point that nobody should be able to compel a woman to wax his hairy bollocks!
