thats not what dictionaries do lol they categorise how words are used - they dont prescribe meaning at all. and the current definition doesnt include trans women? it will eventually. because that's how we use the word.

As I understand you believe that being a man or a woman (or both or neither?) is a fact that each person knows about themself but which has no describable or objectively verifiable criteria? It is nothing to do with bodies, or upbringing or gender stereotypes? Is that right?

i think whether one is a man or a woman is a lot more complex than being raised a certain way or adhering to stereotypes. i also dont think its adequately summed up by high-school level biology.

I don't think it's those 2 things either. We agree on that. I think it is a matter of sex. You think it's nothing to do with sex, but is something else. Indescribable, knowable only to the individual? Is that right?

No I'm just trying to understand your belief. It's important to people who hold the belief therefore it's important. What is it that you believe makes someone a man or a woman?

i dont think there is any one thing that makes someone a man or a woman there is no essential quality that cant be easily disproven, you're welcome to try.

So it is something that individuals know about themselves at a fundamental level. It is indescribable & has no specific characteristics, is that right? Am I describing it correctly? (Also do you think some ppl are neither man nor woman, and some fluctuate between the two states?)
