I thought the exhibition was OK. I wouldn't want to ban it or anything.... It's not suitable for kids & school grouos though (as it was originally marketed) and the report of the teacher training session was hair-raising

As a whole I don't think it is suitable for under 16s. Some bits are more disturbing than others. I don't think they should normalise exposing children to adults sexuality.

No I mean the arty porn that's mixed in throughout the exhibit - naked adults, erect penis, fetish stuff, horror images - fine for an edgy art exhibition, not for a school field trip.

No it's not. The videos are sectioned off but the photos are not. I don't think they thought it through when they were curating it. There were no age limits until people complained. Primary schools invited. Gendered Intelligence thought it was all good for kids.

There were photos both downstairs and upstairs that are NSFW, so i'm not going to post them on my timeline. As I said I think it is fine as an art exhibition, but not for kids. It had no age restrictions at launch.

Maybe. That's why i said the gallery should have been open and put out a clear statement - we made a mistake e.g. in promoting this exhibition to primary schools, and not having age restrictions. This is how we made that mistake. This is how we've fixed it. This is what we learnt
