I think the thing is when most people fill in a form that says "gender" they are filling in "sex" because gender is undefined/ people read it as a synonym. But for a few people it means "deeply held feeling of identity which may or may not align with sex" ...

Sorry, none of that is as helpful as "here is some handy data" but thats the problem with all these orgs fumbling the definitions
