      There's a pretty good interactive analysis page - google UK government LGBT survey and it'll probably come up, with a bit of further clicking through. Don't know how far the data is available beyond that.

      This survey looks really good but is only a sample of LGBT people, not quite what I need

      I think the thing is when most people fill in a form that says "gender" they are filling in "sex" because gender is undefined/ people read it as a synonym. But for a few people it means "deeply held feeling of identity which may or may not align with sex" ...

          THREAD: What’s on your Medical Record: SEX or Gender? This is a long thread so here’s the TLDR: Officially, your NHS medical record is SUPPOSED to hold your SEX. And, your gender identity *as well* IF YOU WANT. You’ll have to read to the end to find out if it does though ;-)
