That seems to me like the most important bit (buried right at the bottom). Why on earth do they NOT have a process which says NOBODY (no matter how charismatic, famous etc..) can volunteer for NSPCC without first doing this basic safeguarding module and being assessed? @NSPCC
Noone who respects & understands child protection would consider recruiting volunteers without there being a robust safeguard check. A team which doesn't have a process means a team who dont understand child abuse. There's a historical CSA inquiry going on fgs!
They need to be disbanded. It is disgusting. Schools have to go through safer recruitment with volunteers and provide Child protection training to them. Why don’t the NSPCC!
