I would love for foundations and civil society orgs working on this issue to commission similar surveys in countries around the world. Ask women whether they think that male people can be women and whether sex matters, instead of telling them what is the "right" thing to think .

That would be fascinating. If governments want to create solutions with the consent of the governed, they need to listen. Failing to do that is partly why Trumpism and BREXIT arose on the right. Unfortunately, anti-science, ideology, and tyranny exist on the left too.
