This is what the EHRC say in their technical guidance to schools. The EHRC do not say it is "ideal" for children to be able to self identify into facilities of the opposite sex. And on reflection neither did the Scouts.pic.twitter.com/bf44Z0yJB6

. The Big Lottery Fund said that if it did it would not be an appropriate recipient of a grant. Certainly it does not look like Mermaids encouraged Scouts to envisage any other pathway.
