I want to be inclusive as possible, but I don't think self-ID should be the policy. It's at odds with what the law says. I'm not sure I agree mixed spaces are safe for trans women. Trans women are hugely vulnerable to attack usually by cis men. Plus they still have the headache of where to change. Few cubicles at ponds.

Most spaces are mixed

restaurants, shops, hotels, work, parks etc... single sex is the exception rather than norm & i don't think crime statistics bear this out. In any case we should ask men to be more accepting of gender nonconformity, not offer women as human shields
