Medical “evidence” from high and mighty straight white men has been presented in Parliament for as long as the institutions have existed. Doesn’t mean a damn thing re progressive human rights.
Why do we bother with medical research and evidence? Do you advocate lower standards of evidence for care in other areas, or just in this one? Children (and parents) making medical choices that will affect their whole lives deserve evidence of benefit, and principle of #DoNoHarm
