Its interesting to compare it with the word mother which can convey a biological relationship as well as a social one. The difference is that the differing meanings of the word is generally accepted.

Don't we already have that? Woman = sex. Gender = feminine psychology and behavior. Gender identity = sense of self? Homonym: female. Then the questions are about the relationships between the three (eg evolved psychological sex differences).

Side note, I would avoid casual use of "stereotyped." What's that supposed to convey, stereotype as false (but see stereotype accuracy)? Stereotype as normative? Stereotyping as arbitrary, as immoral?
