I am arguing: 1) I am not sure; 2) transgender people exist everywhere; they are not a 'fashion' ; they have always existed everywhere and are a minority; 3) you shouldn't attack a minority, laugh at them and caricature them as men on skirts to make your point.

Meanwhile ignoring the need for protection for people with gender disphoria, which often has co-morbidities, intersex people and transexuals who undergo surgery to deal with serious mental issues. Only trans rights can cover these, not women rights designed for biological women.
-
In the long run probably the only people who benefit are those that have no interest in the rights of women or trans people. They'll be glad that trans women are lumped in with women.

The thing is they don’t lack rights you and I have, what we hear are demands to access spaces they otherwise could not access. Until this madness transsexuals were accommodated in toilets and changing rooms by mutual respect. That respect from trans has disappeared.

I should have said from TRA’s most trans women are still just trying to get on with their lives in peace.

Its crazy. Such a group can't be defined + measured. Is there a point where someone becomes feminine or masculine enough to be included? If the only criteria for membership is self identification, it can't protect those that need protecting, including trans people.

at the idea there should be rights linked to adopting gendered roles. The idea that there are proper roles for men and proper roles for women is the shit we've all been fighting against, and now people want to put performing stereotypes into a rights framework?
