Transwomen are more oppressed than cis women specifically because you insist on calling them males. As @Alonso_GD noted, privilege is contextual. @Alonso_GD has a privilege I don't (male) while in WEOG states I have a privilege he doesn't (white). Cis people HAVE privilege. 1/2

Think she is in a bit of a bind. If she admits trans men need pregnancy protections it means they are biological women which means I am right that trans women are biological men and don't need women rights. Oooops. She will have to throw trans men under a bus to uphold her theory

I am still
at the idea there should be rights linked to adopting gendered roles. The idea that there are proper roles for men and proper roles for women is the shit we've all been fighting against, and now people want to put performing stereotypes into a rights framework? - 2 more replies

Why do you need to ridicule others to make a point? Some women's rights are based on our biology. Others try to reverse structural inequalities that are the product of a system where we have been assigned a particular position in society with (at times) defined roles.

But trans men are not women, so they get no women rights at all. Sorry but that is your position, not mine. I think trans people need specific rights based on trans status, but sex-based rights should pertain to their sex. So trans men can get women rights, trans women cannot.
