Sure as I said, there are many issues. I dont think it helps though to give up the word (& analysis) that reflects there is oppression affecting female people. Why redefine this group as having adopted an identity 'woman' or sharing a mystical internal feeling of womanhood?

Gender dysphoria can be a debilitating mental condition and people have all my sympathy. But sports are not segregated by identity but by sex, so why should this serious condition be a reason for men to compete in women's sports, and not, say, diabetes or depression?
As @boodleoops describes gender identity is used to refer to a quasi-metaphysical property or essence that is fixed, unchanging, entirely subjective and unfalsifiable. independent of both bio sex, & gendered socialisation. Mystical seems like a fair summary of that concept.
