As one of the co-founders of Let Toys Be Toys I am utterly disappointed that you are now promoting the ideology which says that a girl who wants short hair, likes fixing things and isn't into sparkles and dresses is 'in the wrong body' and must be a boy. Heartbroken.

trans in and of itself is not an ideology, and certainly not one that says a girl being boyish must be a boy... yes many activists do take it that far, but thats no reason to hate on literally any support for trans people in general. i dont see anything wrong with this support

your point? activists may take it far, but being trans isnt in and of itself an ideology which promotes that, its just ba condition some ppl have, i mean, cancer patients come in all kinds of political ideology do they not?

what your basically saying is "some people take things way too far, therefore everyone who suffers from Dysphoria is now an evil bigot even though they havent done anything themselves" what activists do, does not represent the condition itself

you've compared gender dysphoria to cancer. So you should spend more time examining your own beliefs rather than mischaracterising mine

my own beliefs? what ever do you mean? and yes i compared two medical conditions, one affects the body the other affects the mind but both are indeed conditions, being trans isnt an ideology, its a debilitating condition (that many ppl have hijacked) that has no bearing on belief

so you have neither made any point whatsoever, but you have also essentially dismissed the idea that Dysphoria is an actual condition some people genuinely suffer from also not sure how i mischaractarised cancer .. i only said that cancer patients dont all follow one ideology

so considering all this, im going to assume you simply hate trans people and are completely unwilling to open up to the idea that not every transperson is like the activists you see on twitter, knowing this im going to stop engaging with you, good day.

All sympathy to you and your medical condition. Most rare medical conditions are not the subject of children's picture books. Children are very susceptible to sexist ideas about girls & boys roles. LTBT campaigns against them. This book promotes them.

i am in multiple camps in this debate due to having multiple conditions involved. however I understand your point about promoting this stuff in books, but the way you worded your original reply made it seem like being pro-trans at all was bad, if thats not what u meant then sorry
