And ditto organisations with responsibilities for safeguarding and child protection. It is never a good idea to ring-fence some area of society outside of safeguarding protections.
Gender is such an amorphous word. I think it confuses more than helps. Used as a polite euphemism for sex, and used for sex stereotypes, and now used for the assumption of internal gender identity. Gender is a cage, but the cage is not us.
