I'm sure there are ways to make all women feel safe and protect all women without being discriminatory. Does not seem to be a general crisis.

If male prisoners are put into women's prisons the risk to women demonstrably (and predictably) rises. A male's preference is being traded of against women's safety. 9/

Yes, transwomen are vulnerable to (male) violence in men's prisons. So are other vulnerable males - eg effeminate young men, men w learning difficulties, sex offenders 10/

Prison authorities have a responsibility to protect all these vulnerable people. It is not obvious thar women must be used as human shields for males w gender dysphoria 11/
