Re: sports. The science seems to be still out on the role of hormone therapy, so I'll leave that out. Again, I'm not convinced with this making of a few notable cases a regularity 6/N
At the same time I accept that for some people expressing a gender identity is important to them (and in general someone's sex should not be a reason to limit what they wear, how they act etc). 3/

But there are some areas of life that are segregated by the binary of *sex* (not gender identity, of which there are many options not just 2). This includes sport & prisons. (4/)

We should apply the precautionary principle (and ask why?) before getting rid of sex segregation and changing to"gender identity" segregation in these situations. 5/
