Thanks! Yes, I watched some of that at the time and might have said more about it in the blog post, but was a bit short of space (and also slightly wary of wading into the gender recognition debate!).

It shouldn't be out of bounds -- Scottish Committee was v.good on relationship between census data & Eq Act protected characteristics showed that ppl can talk about this clearly (compared to debate in Westminster which went into seeing peoples souls!)
