Genuine question: is it better to write:
A sweeping critique, catalysing online response (by irked critics & enthusiasts alike), tho not necessarily shifting anyone's priors;
or
A more accurate, nuanced post, which engages constructively?

(that's not a critique. it's a genuine question.

Personally, as a young female, I don't think I could ever write that kind of post and then be taken seriously as a careful thinker... My status & standing is much more fragile. So I wonder if there are hierarchies in who can write a clickbaity polemic, & retain standing?
