My arg is that all biological traits (sex/skin color/height/eye color/voice pitch) are ultimately continuous variables. Lumping people into categories based on them thus necessitates making a dividing line. Folks may be fine with that; I personally find it problematic.

But I'm not arguing that there aren't clustered traits. Sure "female" poison dart frogs tend to be larger than "male", but does that mean there is no pair where the "male" is larger? 1/2

And speaking of animals, what about Clown Fish? At different points in time/social status they perform different reproductive functions. My only point is that biology is way too complicated to be reduced to two bins. (As are most things in the world)
