I'm sympathetic to concerns about safety in prisons, less so about panels. Trans people are such a tiny minority (c.0.5% of US pop.), I struggle to see how they might usurp women's voices/ participation in business/ society.
Women were excluded from voting, from going to uni, from professions etc. not because of gender identity but because of their sex. Women are still discriminated against & disadvantaged because of their sex. I didn't think the #manel thing was about wanting one person in a dress

Sure it's not your intent, but comes across as trivializing discrimination against trans men/women because of their identity/glibly reducing trans identity to wearing a dress. Don't see how the answer to discrimination against women is to sideline trans/non-binary.

The quote about"it's synonymous to how a lady may choose to wear a dress, heels and makeup one day yet trousers, flats and no makeup another" is not from me its from Phillip/Pips Bunce!
