If Bunce feels in whole or in part a woman, then he would count as one. But I feel like one could make reasoned arguments either way, and that's ok. Seems to me the point of the pledge is to be effective in the 99% of cases where there is not room for reasoned argument.

They don't think it qualifies them as a woman... that's why they identify as gender fluid not trans woman, right? (which is why it was indeed weird for them to be put on the women in business list!)

Yes. & weird he felt entitled to accept the award, instead of saying "sorry there has been a mistake I am a man who challenges gender norms" & that CreditSuisse didn't either. Its like they were putting the entitlement of powerful men ahead of treating women fairly. whodathunk?

This is a strange case. When women wear flats, trousers, and no makeup, they don't become men.

No indeed. And when men wear make-up, heels, dresses they don't become women. But the norm seems to be that we should pretend they do to avoid hurt feelings.

Women were excluded from voting, from going to uni, from professions etc. not because of gender identity but because of their sex. Women are still discriminated against & disadvantaged because of their sex. I didn't think the
