This is shockingly shoddy reporting by @FT https://www.ft.com/content/a82ffa26-bc10-11e8-8274-55b72926558f …. Two people declining an invitation and some twitter snark becomes "boycott" by academics and campaigners! Who is going to invite anyone outside of their comfort zone if this is the result?

Can you stop putting words in my mouth, thanks. I am saying that for all: if we fear that inviting someone outside of our group to participate in discussion will lead to them denouncing us on the internet, quickly escalating into an article in the FT then it might chill dialogue
