I welcome critique, and perhaps some would regard it as appropriation, in which case I apologise. As a broader point, I think people adopt new words from all over the place. I'm not sure that international mixing and broadening is necessarily colonial?
Or you could be a Sherpa for G7 agreements etc... I guess they use the word because their work leads up to the Summit
