But, as
@MForstater has pointed out, "multinational profits" is defined as "profits made by an MNC outside its home country" - so eg the non-US profits of a US MNC. Not an intuitive definition IMO and leads to incorrect inferences being drawn from the headline.1 reply 2 retweets 9 likes

Yes. Around 6% of corporate profits overall (including all multinationals and domestic firms)
