Since I criticized the poor handling of a sexual harassment case at the World Bank, responses to me have been 75% about whether I was right to call it an institutional decision (yes, I was)… not about how to prevent further such grave injustices to women at the Bank.
I don't agree. Sorry! Not trying to be difficult. In any justice system people get away with things for lack of adequate evidence sometimes. I don't think this one case translates into a general "if you work at WB u can get away w taking upskirt photos"
(1) the tribunal still found misconduct and (2)if there had been more evidence (like actual successful upskirt pics) on his phone or computer they would have reached a different conclusion. I think we can say we disagree w their judgement w out jumping
... to this conclusion!
