Even so, the context probably makes this even worse, somehow.

The context does make it worse. Did you know that China from the 19th century up until around the late 1900's would commit female infanticide (the drowning of infants) because of the culture of a firstborn son, and then later, China's one child population control laws.

And how does this relate in any way to Crowder doing yellowface?

He drowned a girl doll to mimic what he just described for you. Did you even watch...

And he had to use yellowface to make this point because...?

Really? Because he was using racist yellow face, and then also linking the race to something a government did and making even more disgusting stereotypes.

I don't think you understand why you're argument that "he was just associating a whole race of people with the actions of a single government" doesn't make you or him look less racist.

Really, now? And how does me saying his behavior is wrong, despite the context provided, constitute me defending him?

Because I was saying that the context was even worse than normal racism because he was doubling down on two racist stereotypes and you say no that’s not what is happening. Ignoring the link between government policy and race, which made this moment from him double worse.

My apologies. Apparently there was a misunderstanding somewhere along the way. Dylan bringing up bad things the Chinese government had done made it seem to me that his "the context does make it worse" was tongue in cheek, and that he was defending Crowder.
