    This year's President's Medal, one of the highest honours of the British Ecological Society, is awarded to . I'm not sure how many awards like this Diana has. What I know for sure is that she deserves all of them. Congrats!

    The strength of the paper described in Cheryl’s article is the scope to explore changes at *both* poles. It includes some contributions in Antarctic terrestrial ecosystem responses.

    Newly installed GNSS station on Taylor Glacier, just up from Blood Falls, which is in the McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica. Using a Resolute with an Ethernet radio to pipe the data back to McMurdo. The install was in support of the project.
