Hi is anyone feeling extremely anxious and severe existential dread about climate change? Is there a climate scientist who can tell me yes, things are really bad but it won’t be the end of all existence on the planet in 20 or 50 years? Thanks
Hi Alex, climate scientists here. Yep, climate change is happening faster than predicted by many popular models. But there are solutions --> according to the best models, for example, @ccl's proposed carbon fee and dividend is the most effective thing we can do right now.
Of course there's also massive expansion of renewables, and the very promising development of LFTR. So there are solutions, we just need the political will to implement them. We can start by sending a climate scientist (me) to the Senate :) Check out http://bendavid2020.com !
