You have to feel for Josh Dunkley (and Kyle). Fair to say that Essendon were lead on by the Western Bulldogs when they started entertaining proposals. Ultimately, Bombers made the right decision to hold on to their three top 10 picks instead of caving to ludicrous demands.

Bulldogs have gone from not wanting to trade Dunkley, to fielding offers, to then demanding 2x first-round picks, to then demanding 2x top 10 picks. Essendon are frustrated but I’m told that they are still trying to make something work.

Saad deal is done 👍 Involves Essendon receiving pick 8 and a 4th rounder in exchange for Saad, a 3rd rounder & a 4th rounder.

Logan McDonald AKA ‘the next Matthew Lloyd’ has been on Essendon’s radar since Daniher shock last year. Hearing that they’re still very keen to work out a way they can trade up in the draft to secure him, whether it’s futures or picks in this year’s draft.

Josh Dunkley to Essendon is still happening from the information I have. Bulldogs are very keen on Adam Treloar and I believe a part of that thinking is due to the inevitability that Dunkley is going. A win for all parties if that’s the way it falls.

I have assurance tonight that Adam Saad will be traded to Carlton by Thursday and pick 8 to Essendon will be a part of the trade. All part of the theatre of a trade week that still goes for way too long.

Hearing that the Dunkley camp are quietly confident that a deal will get done with Essendon. Despite all the public chest puffing, it seems the Bulldogs are willing to come to the table

Been told that Ben Brown has officially notified North that he wants to go to the Dees. Essendon have still been in contact with him as recently as this week but I'm led to believe he's chosen Melbourne.

This is just plain incorrect. From my info; 1. Caldwell did not change his mind based on the Crouch/Saints decision 2. Salary is around $450k per season (maybe front-weighted which could explain the false $550k reports). 3. He wants more inside mid time. perfect fit for Essendon.

Whispers out of the Hangar have been kept top secret so far this year, but I do know that Essendon have had preliminary talks with Jeremy Cameron and Ben Brown’s management in the past week.

Paul Brasher means business. I’ve heard he’s already spoken to Daniher, Saad, Fantasia etc and said if they’re not 100% all in for the club, they can jog on. He’s also told them to pull their fingers out and make decisions so that Essendon can begin planning for 2021. Right on!
