A Royal Navy Hawk aircraft from 736 Naval Air Squadron crashed this morning during a flight from RNAS Culdrose. Both pilots ejected successfully. This is the first Royal Navy ejection in 18 years with the last being Martin-Baker's 7000th ejection back in 2003.pic.twitter.com/xYqvarUyUs

I was talking about Martin Bakers ejection seats on Sunday, saying that military pilots have a fan club of the Martin Baker ejection seat. I was told I was told I was too early for an April 1st leg pulling story.... I guess these two are now on that fan club list

I used to know someone who'd ejected twice in his career as a FAA navigator (Blackburn Buccaneers). He was about 5'4" tall, but when he started flying he was 5'8".
