    Additionally, we are planning to close the garage next weekend (8/18-8/19) to conduct a second comprehensive assessment of the garage. We are working to make alternative parking available during these night and weekend closures and will provide details as soon as we can.

    If you park at Alewife, please remove your car before 1AM each night. Cars left overnight could interfere with planned work, and may be towed within the garage. Crews will try to avoid towing cars out of the garage, but vehicles in the garage after 1AM may be removed, if needed.

    There will be no overnight parking at the garage between 1AM and 5AM until further notice. During this time we will be conducting nightly inspections and addressing any issues we identify so that the garage can be available for the morning commute.

    Alewife Garage will reopen on Monday 8/13 at 5am. Crews have worked throughout the weekend to complete inspections and make needed repairs and our safety and engineering teams have determined the garage continues to be safe for customer use.

    We apologize for this closure and the inconvenience it may cause - the safety of our customers is always our first priority. Following this current work, a larger repair project will start next month to prolong the life of the garage.
