I think longer blog posts are more likely to go viral, of my posts that have, they're either about sex or really long. But overly long doesn't seem to work, so theirs a balance. Essentially length increases chance for key words in google search but still mostly seems like luck
So due to the vast amount of traffic coming to my blog through these insanely long posts, and people not really wanting to read very much I always feel a bit sad about my hits to views ratio
